Urban Descent Sydney

The Sir David Martin Foundation will again host a Sydney based Urban Descent event in 2011 following the success of the 2010 event at which over $200,000 was raised for the Foundation.

The Sydney Urban Descent will be held at the AMP Building (Corner Young Street and Alfred Street), Circular Quay, on October 21 and 22, 2011.

Registration details will be available soon. This year the event will run over 2 days as last year’s event sold out. There are only 200 abseil opportunities available!

All monies raised will assist The Sir David Martin Foundation to continue funding ‘youth crisis’ programs run by Mission Australia.

One of the key programs is the Triple Care Farm in the Southern Highlands of NSW, which provides a safe & curative place for young people aged 16 to 24.

These young people are struggling with homelessness, mental health issues, abuse, depression and self harm.
